Personal Information in Games Developed by Us

In addition to website services, we also develop and provide video games on platforms such as Unity or Unreal Engine. When you participate in these games, we may collect minimal personal information to ensure a seamless user experience and proper functionality of in-game features. We are committed to protecting players’ privacy.

1. Collected Information

  • Display Name in Game: Used to personalize the experience and display to other players (if multiplayer features are available).
  • Email: Used to link accounts, provide technical support, or send game-related notifications.
  • Avatar: If you log into the game using third-party services such as Steam, Epic Online Services (EOS), Google, etc., we may access the avatar you have set up on those platforms, solely for display within the game. This avatar is not stored locally or reused outside of in-game display purposes. You can control or change your avatar directly on the providing platform (e.g., Steam or Google account).
  • Device ID, Game Version: Used for system functionality.
  • System Logs: Collected for debugging purposes.

We do not store user passwords in any form for our games.

2. Purpose of Use

  • Login and management of player accounts.
  • Synchronization of game data (e.g., progress, personal settings).
  • Support for users and error resolution.
  • Improvement of game quality and analysis of usage behavior (anonymized).

3. Security and Storage

  • All personal information is encrypted during transmission.
  • User data is stored on secure servers controlled by us or through third-party services with appropriate security standards (e.g., Firebase, Epic Online Services, PlayFab).
  • We do not share personal information with any third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

4. User Rights

  • You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us.
  • If you no longer wish to use the service or have your information stored, you can request the deletion of all data related to your game account.

II. Website

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our website, you may opt to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter your details when leaving another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and display preference cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the ID of the article you edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who We Share Your Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have an account on this website or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where Your Data Is Sent

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
